Before the GT5 delay, it was going to be released to pretty much go head to head with Kinect. Do you think Sony got wet feet and decided to wait until after the Kinect release?

Of course he would say that.  I only ask because it seamed weird to take the Flagship Sony title and go head to head with the uncertin Kinect launch.  I tought it would be a safer bet to wait a month and release. Now that has happened.  Just seeing if anyone else was thinking the same.

GT5 is a PS3 exclusive, kinect is a xbox thing nothing related or connect. 

the only thing that has pushed games back have been COD and Halo  (GOW3, KZ3, TCFS etc)

really?  Sony is worried about a peripherial against arguably the their consoles most anticipated game?  for crying out loud. 

and no, it wasn't being released to go head to head with Kinect ever.  the game has been in development for 5 years, well before Kinect was even conceived probably.  nothing about GT5's release has anything to do with Kinect.  I can't believe that even needs to be stated.

Even if GT5 and Kinect were sold on the Same day, they would both do good in there own merit. 38 million PS3 owners aren't going to be like "OMG kinect is out, i am so not buying GT5 just so i can look at the kinect i wont get because i have to get a 360". 

the underlined seems like much more of a reason for MS to delay kinect than for Sony to delay GT5.   So I would say no.

hmm, I agree. Not trying to troll here. Just thought it was weird for a game so close to launch to be delayed only a month. 

it's strange but not unprecedented for developers to find some small problem extremely close to launch.  LBP was delayed a week or so because of a song.

Personally I'm going to assume it was due to Black Ops, it's getting quite the high amount of pre-order's ad people were probably going to pick that up over GT5, I hope they release it by mid December because if it gets pushed off into next year well, don't expect great sales (imo)
