GT5 is the biggest title coming to the PS3 this side of 2011 (Now in doubt) I would imagine anybody who is interested in sales would be interested in this topic. I personally am not interested in GT5 as a game I am however interested in GT5 as a phenomenon and how it will affect console sales in general.
However I have said it before and will say it again the rain effect is awesome. Not awesome enough to buy a console but pretty cool.

I'm sure the game is gonna be extraordinary but they really need to release it already.

The title is actually perfectly correct as it is in the form of a question. Has anyone on here got any information of this game having gone gold, I mean if it has already then any delay would be in shipping the game globally and or engineering a day one patch. These points are vital in establishing whereabouts they are on the release schedule. I gather that there is no evidence of this game having gone gold so we now can draw some guesses on potential delays.
A troll thread would have been posting a thread polling if Forza 4 would be released before GT5.

Actually if I remember correctly Kowenicki was actually BANNED for suggesting Forza 3 would release before GT5 during the 2009 E3 week (we expected GT5 to launch in December 2009 back then)
That was hilarious though cus it came true and Forza 3 did release before GT5!!!!!!!!!!!!

If true this is basically confirmation that the game has gone gold. Obviously they would have decided well before yesterday to delay if the game had yet to go gold.

it's the timing and title of this thread that comes off as fishy to me
the game has just been officially been delayed everywhere so who would have any information on this game going gold?
now speculating on the games release could have used a better title, but maybe that's just me, seeing who's posting in this thread I'm pretty sure it was made with the best intentions....
He was just so upset about how GT PSP was received that this game is going to meet his standards no matter what.
