Oh boy, the Wii is really starting to show its age. Can't they atleast get the graphics up to par with original Xbox?

Well I hope reviews are good. I wouldn't mind having a decent shooter on the Wii.

I work for a gaming website, and my colleagues have seen the game up close and with their own eyes and the game definitely looks much better than what that trailer showed. It's obvious that trailer showed off an older build of the game.

Maybe you saw an early build... and the final version looks worse.

I dunno, we'll have to see the final product.

Sorry Puggsly, but that will NEVER happen haha. We saw the Pre-Alpha build, and the game in pre-alpha already looked better than the first title.

Currently enjoying: Monster Hunter Tri.

You never know!

It could have went like this...

Programmer 1: We gotta get more crap on the screen at once!

Programmer 2: But the game engine has already been pushed to its limit. The frame rate is all over the place as is.

Programmer 1: I wish we were better programmers... but what if we just make the graphics look worse?

Programmer 2: We can do that.

Definitely an improvement. Larger, more colorful, and more varied environments.

Tweak a few of the fundamentals (i.e. no more bunny hopping) and iron out the major online glitches, and i'll be good to go.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I thought I was in the wrong thread after I saw the trailer, I even felt like the Wii at the bottom left corner at the end of the trailer felt out of place for me. It does look impressive!

The online multiplayer is what will decide if this game sinks or swims.

Or the local multiplayer, since that's a very overlooked market for FPS these days.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Man that railer looked pretty good, but its launching in February and I'm buying Duke that month. I also played the game at PAX but the version I played according to the High Voltage developer was horrible and glitchy, he told me the finished product was way better. I guess I'll have to rent it and maybe buy it during a slow month when nothing else good is launched.

But why are you buying Duke? Every game I can recall that was that many years in development ended up being bad or very mediocre at best...

(I know no game was THAT many years in development, but you know what I mean).
