Looks like the preview was way off on Red Dead Redemption. Good! Deserves a ton of sales. Wonder how the 360 version did too. Possibly 100k between both?

Good for Macross.  The preview expected it to do 57k.

PS3 did very well with software this week. Wii on the other hand did very badly, only 1 title in the top 15. I don't think that happens very often for the system. I'm surprised at how well the DS hardware is hanging on after the Pokemon bump. Have those Pokemon Black/White DSi/XL been released yet?

I hope that this this the lowest Wii hardware goes this year in Japan. I would think Kirby and Mario the next two weeks would give small bumps, and then we should be getting close enough to the holidays that the hardware sales don't drop down quite this low again for the year. I do think the Wii will be seeing a lot of <10k weeks in 2011 in Japan though.

God this is horrendous. That's looking very likely at this point. Wii could be doing slightly better than 360-like numbers. Just out of curiosity, did the PS2 ever fall below 10k before it's 5th year in Japan.

lol only two wii games in the top 20, that's horrible. But Kirby and mario collection should help a bit in the next few weeks

PS3 had a great week with SW. RDR did great! PS still > Wii. Great stuff since it's still more expensive than the wii by a good amount as well
