I am STILL confident of GT5's LONG TERMS success because it has NASCAR n stuff and the series has legs.

But the launch numbers will be disappointing for me in NA.


NASCAR is fading in popularity in the US. If GT5 released 3 years ago it would have been bigger.

On the other hand Fable III is going to be huge! Black Ops falling behind Halo:Reach pace. Looks like some people are sticking with MW2. Let me rephrase that. Looks like the boosters, glitchers, and children are sticking with MW2 so they can l33t quick scope and tac boost.

Gears Of War 3 seems to be doing really well considering it was delayed for a year and it's still doing  5,000 a week is quite impressive I would have thought the numbers for it would have dropped.

Perhaps the news about all of the things that Gears 3 will offer (dedicated servers and so on) has something to do with it.



I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Another thing to note is that there is no real incentive of preordering GT5. The best preorder deal for GT5 is a $10 gift card and a another car out of the 1000 cars you will already get. There is no story mode either so there is no rush on beating the game. Fable 3, however, has a preorder deal of a $20 gift card and a 2 dlc weapons. Also there is a story in the game which people might feel they have to beat first so they can talk about it with friends.

I never knew the racing in Fable was such we needed it to compare it to gt5. I also hear angry birds might outsell GT5 too.

It's perfectly fine and valid to compare two big franchises that are going to be close in sales, stop being so sensitive psrock.

Good lord, that is one, huge, pleasing jump for Fable III pre-orders.

 

GT5...eh, people were ranting similarly about God of War III. And it sold fine in the end.

Medal of Honor looking solid. Black Ops is a monster.

I'm assuming AC: Brotherhood PS3 > X360 due to the PS3 exclusive beta.

Again, glad that Kirby and DKCR are in the charts. DKCR should have a strong debut and healthy legs.

Fallout: New Vegas is also looking good.



Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!
