Time for a bit of old news. Or future news. Whatever man.

Basically, we know now pretty much the lineup for the consoles this year, so which is the strongest? Here's a reminder (as per usual, CONSOLE exclusives only. Also, Kinect, Move etc. don't count. This is purely software based, and EU releases.)

360-Halo:Reach, Kinect Adventures, Kinectimals, Alan Wake, Crackdown 2

Wii- Super Mario Galaxy 2, Monster Hunter Tri, Goldeneye 007, DKCR, Metroid: Other M, Red Steel 2, Tatusnoko vs. Capcom, Epic Mickey, Wii Party, Sonic Colours, No More Heroes 2

PS3- Heavy rain, Grand Turismo 5, God of War III, ModNation Racers, MAG, Sports Champions, the Fight, Kung Fu Fighter, Sly collection, Demon Souls, White Knigh Chronicles, Yakuza 3, 3D Dot Game heroes, Atelier Rorona

PSP- Kingdom Hearts, MGS: Peace Walker , Valkyria Chronicles 2 and Persona 3, GOW: Ghost of Sparta 

DS- Dragon Quest IX, Professor Layton and the Lost Future, Golden Sun, Sonic Colours

CDi- Hotel Mario 2- the return of the phantom doors.

Seems to me like it's been a good year for exclusives, with some mega ones still to come. BUT, which is best? Only one way to find out...

I would have to go with 360 this year mostly because of ME2.  PS3 woulda had a shot if LBP2 wasn't delayed but sadly it was.

Also, if I've missed a game, or you think a game should/shouldn't be on that list which isn't, just let me know. For example, I'll be putting up ME2 now thanks to Torillian.

That's a pretty short listing of games on their respective consoles.

Wii: Red Steel 2, Capcom vs Tatsunoko, No more heroes 2(minus the japanese multiplat of course).

PS3: God of War III, Mod nation racers

360: Splinter cell conviction, Alan Wake

And there are sooo many more not listed. Are you saying just exclusives? Just games with loads up hype? Games with a minimum metacritic score? You should define what you want out of this discussion. Right now it's fuzzy and altogether limited.

Didn't mass effect 2 come out on the pc, thus making it not an exclusive? Is ratchet and clank all 4 one already out? What the heck is the cd-i? Am I voting for the top exclusive, or the console with the best exclusives? Is your native language English, because I do not understand what the heck your trying to say.

Obviously, this is your opinion, and I fully respect it, but Mass Effect 2 is not an exclusive. I also am fully confident that the plethora of quality exclusive games released on the ps3 this year is vastly superior to that of the 360's.(this of course is my opinion and should absolutely not influence you either way in this arguement seeing as the quality of a game is subject to the player)

haven't played ME2, just trying to think of the game lineups objectively and I come to the 360 having the best this year.

notable 360 console exclusives: Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, Halo 3, Fable 3

on the PS3 side: GoW3, Modnation Racers, Heavy Rain, GT5

to me the 360 appears to come out on top.

Mass effect 2 and fable 3 are available on the pc and 360 making them multiplats, while this thread is about exclusives. That narrows the list to Halo Reach and Alan wake. Of course you could argue that those two games(ME2 and Fable 3) cannot be found on the ps3 (well... Mass effect 2 not yet) and that is what counts. Either way ,though, I consider an exclusive to be a game that is exclusive to a single platform, which ME2 and Fable 3 are not.
