if you are impatient , then i suggest you leave this game alone, it really going to rip your hair off, but if you are patient and a REAL Hardcore gamer (wink wink) , then .....

Playing on Hell's Raiser (Hard mode,one touch and you explode) 5 hours left (5th level, each time you select a level the game changes the level design and each time you waste "hours" it will get harder..)

260 tries in this part of the level alone , and i still can't get pass it x_x, i still have 588 lives left though.

did anyone here finish this game on Hell's Raiser level? i don't want to noob out and switch to normal level , i always play games on hardest levels, but its kinda tempting though....

edit : some people finished the whole game without a hit once O______O , and you get an award for that, man......

i wanted to finish this game before the sequel comes out, but seeing as how hard it is, i think its going to take some time...

Man I did a review on that game, it can be brutal on normal dood.  It's as hardcore as the term gets.

Imagine playing it with hellraiser , one hit kill. x_x

I did and I stopped, I knew I could never come close to beating it that way and went to the normal difficulty.

It is very important to choose wisely with which level you start and with which level you end on hard mode...

On Hardmode I have 3 hours left... I am on my third playthrough and I finished the game once (You can restart the game as soon as you have gathered the right soul)

at first i thought the levels wont change so i went through them by numbers from first to last, but i skipped Magmas Hideout for last for some reason and there is one part where i keep dying , you have to have perfect timing and lots of luck.

Fair enough, it's very hard. It's Shinobi PS1 hard....but know this......

No game....ever...ever...makes Battletoads seem easy, because that game is not easy. That game is fucking nuts.

this game makes battletoads easy, infact you can finish this game and get frustrated as hell, then go back to battletoads to relax and enjoy yourself

PS : shinobi PS2 (you mean PS2 right?) , is not that hard once you master the dash mechanic and have a sense of timing, but its still harder than Ninja Gaiden.

OT: Battletoads is hard as all fucking hell. I remember playing it when I was like 6 and I couldn't even beat the first level.
