It's confusing that you think no matter how good the developer, the game will be bad. What do the past games have to do with it at all if it's a new developer?!
Okay, so you think that BioWare will save Sonic? Well, maybe... Maybe... Most of their games have recived very good reviews. Baldur's Gate, MDK2, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, and Mass Effect, all got very good reviews. BioWare "could" make a good Sonic game, but don't give your hopes up just yet... They did manage to make a good Star Wars game, so you never know...

Because it's Sonic...
Crash was passed around like a hot potatoe, from developer, to developer. Look what happend to him? Now he's some morphed up, thing, with tattoos on his arms. True, a new developer should give a franchise a fresh start, but I don't think that a Sonic RPG would work. Come on... Sonic RPG? No... Besides, Sega made Sonic famous, Sega made Sonic infamous, so only Sega should be able to make Sonic good again, which will never happen. Sure, BioWare is good, but Sonic will translate worse into an RPG game, than into a 3D platformer. Besides, Sega threw in all of those characters into the Sonic franchise. BioWare wont just remove them, for an RPG game needs lots of characters, so BioWare will probably include the Sonic characters we hate so much, and we're going to play as Sonic, 20% of the time.

Oh yeah...you're the guy who thinks all Star Wars games suck, and apparently have never played TIE Fighter, X-Wing, Rogue Squadron, Jedi Knight, etc....these are great games with or without the Star Wars license.

He's ugly now too. I'm glad he's ugly now, because his looks match his newer games, and his classic, good model died with his classic, good games. His Dreamcast look was refreshing, but then he just morphed into this... Thing... And yes, I hate his Brawl look too... Sonic is now on par with Crash, Blinx, Spyro, Pac-Man, and dare I say it, Bubsy! Anyways, Sonic RPG is coming out, and yes, it's going to suck. It will not be like Paper Mario, or Mario & Luigi. I can already see the 65.49% on Game Rankings. I can already see it. In fact, you might as well say that I'm looking at it right now. |
I think everyone beat this to death, but BioWare does not make 'sucky' games - SEGA chose an insanely talented company to do this project, one of the most highest respected companies in the RPG genres.
Numbers: Checker Players > Halo Players
Checkers Age and replayability > Halo Age and replayability
Therefore, Checkers > Halo
So, Checkers is a better game than Halo.
Knux is easily more popular than Tails, but this topic has reminded me that, in general, it seems to me that you have no taste. But that's the beauty of the world, I guess.
