Forums - Nintendo - IGN's glowing Goldeneye preview.

It seems that the media coverage of Goldeneye is finally starting to pick up this week after lots of new media has been released. Now ign has a preview, and are the first (that I know of) to talk about playing using the Wii remote pointer controls. Here is the link. If you don't feel like reading the link though the summary is that it controls great, the game looks great, and they like the changes to the orginal game while keeping the feel of it at the same time.

I think this game is really looking great and am surprised there does not seem to be more hype for the game here.

What do you all think, will you be picking this game up?

This will be mine!!

"What do you all think, will you be picking this game up?"

Hell yeah. It's something my brother and I look forward to.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

cant wait

This will be my yearly shooter (actually, unless there's a new TimeSplitters coming out, it might end up being my last FPS I buy this generation... and Bioshock: Infinite), and I'm definitely looking forward to it.

I dunno, there's something about being James Bond that just feels right.

Can't wait to take down the baddies and the friends.

I was about to post this and another article that had and I quote

"though this is Wii – weaker in visual capabilities than the 360 and PlayStation 3 – GoldenEye is a pretty sexy looking game, and I hate to insult the guys at Bizarre Creations, but I'm convinced that, at this point in development, GoldenEye looks far superior to Blood Stone on the 360 and PS3, at least when you take into account the limitations Eurocom has to work with on Wii".

If you don't believe me see the article for yourself! -> http://wii.ign.com/articles/111/1119861p1.html

So, what do you guess my answer is now?

"there will be a variety of difficulty levels to choose from. The hardest: 007 Classic, a throwback to the classic GoldenEye design where you have your on-screen health and armor as half-circles on either side of your targeting reticule, and the only way to repair a hurt Bond is to find armor pick-ups along the way."

So for those not liking the CoD health system, you can just use that.

The more I see of it, the more it is replacing DK as my most wanted Wii title for the holidays...Especially after HVS delayed Conduit 2. I just might have to buy this one.

I picked up Quantum of Solace, so I guess that I HAVE to pick up this too.
