can't cause it won't matter. we are still talking about fans of capcom in general not an exsisting franchise? my argument is not about the sells numbers? its about the fans of capcom.

why bring up sales then if it doesn't matter ?
And a true and dedicated Capcom fan would've gotten the console with the most Capcom games, which was the 360 at that point of time.

While I do find it funny that PS3 versions of games tend to outsell the 360 versions (for capcom at least, and it's not that funny considering Japan seems to give the Ps3 versions the boost that xbox doesn't seem to experience), I have a feeling Dead Rising will not be one of those games. America numbers are really all that matter in this situation because the power of xbox in the U.S. is obviously stronger than the rest of the world (If you don't believe that, compare NA numbers for Halo to WW). |
nothing to add! i agree with the hole thing, but u never no hell could freeze over! it is getting cooler.

not if its not there prefured console, and street fighter could be the reason for gamers chose not to get a 360. there was no word origonaly of street fighter going multiplatform before the PS3 laugnched and also because like most games this gen they thought it would hit PS3 eventually.
and me bringging up the sells of the game is to show the fan base is there.

wasn't the rumor of SF4 being PS3 exlcusive sometime in mid or late 2007 ? Dead Rising and Lost Planet were still only on 360 at that time. So Capcom fans should have decided before.

rumors don't rule all gamers, and on that same note the rumor of those games coming to PS3 prevented them from buying a 360. and the rumor that ST4 was coming to 360 prevented 360 owners form buying a PS3.
| axumblade said: At least Dead Rising 2 came to the PS3. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if they were testing the waters on Dead Rising 2 to see if PS3 gamers even had interest in the PS3 version of the game. |
a full blown release of the game is hardly a test for interest of the game. if it is the test, what will they do beyond that if it passes that test? releasing a game is actually the ultimate purpose of making games.
Capcom really fucks up with their DLCs...

Above: still the best game of the year.

true games do and at that time Lost Planet and Dead Rising were 360 exclusives, with no mention of SF4 being in developement whatsoever.
Also I doubt someone believed theses porting rumors, because at that time the PS3 was fairly new and it wasn't common knowledge that 360 games tend to be ported over at a later date.
| jarrod said: DR1 never came to PS3 either. If you love Capcom, you should've chosen 360 in the first place... |
Quoted for truth.
It's just that simple.
