I don't think this is the actual final launch list, certainly not for the West. Probably not even for Japan - as I seriously doubt that the secretive Nintendo will come out with its launch list 5 months in advance...

no Paper Mario 3DS = autofail!!! D:

gonna buy a 3DS whenever PM's released

Not disappointed one bit. Even if you are, we've all seen lists of about 60 games that are coming soon after.

  • Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS – Nintendo
  • Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle – Level 5
  • Samurai Warriors Chronicle – Tecmo Koei
  • Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition – Capcom

These are worth the 1st day grab.

While I have little interest in most of those titles, I'm highly excited for the list itself because it showcases just what to expect from the 3DS.

New titles, classic remakes and some big 3rd party franchises.   If this is the Japanese launch list, it's quite possibly the most well rounded Japanese launch line up in video game history.  Quite literally something for everyone.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

Well, once the US launch list is out, i'll have an opinion. But OoT and Steel Diver should be good enough for a first day buy, for me. So I say is pretty good.

Not enough Mario.

Above: still the best game of the year.

I'm a bit disappointed.  There's no must-have title there for me, though I think a few of them would be worth queueing up on GameFly.  I tend not to buy consoles unless there's a very specific must-have game that I'm hyped for.

You do not have the right to never be offended.

Heck no! Too many titles would kill my wallet.

The magic 4 are what I'll take:

Zelda

Nintendogs

Layton

Monkey Ball

and my world shall be happy.
