Community project section of the city is now open and ready for construction. Will expand if it ends up popular. Right now, go to the East Side, next to Herobrine Field and EnderPark and you can find empty lots ready to be used.

I want myself to do NO buildings in that section at all. EVERYTHING is supposed to be built by others from the community. I would LIKE at least a few of you guys to contribute buildings, but you don't have to if you have no clue what to do. The idea is to give new players somewhere concrete they can build and contribute to the world.

Oooooh! I'll have to jump on and claim a lot to build on.

Long weekend coming up here so I thought I might make my return to Minecraft. It's been so long.

ill be on there to build too, would like to play rather than admin and tinker... been working on rights some other stuff and fixing an ailing mac gpu. plus you know the normal work

In other news, it has been confirmed that the next official update will be November 18 - when Minecraft 1.0 releases. All the details originally announced for Beta 1.9 and Beta 1.10 are now going to release for 1.0.

Haha I have no complaints with you. I enjoy having you around. My complaint is that you're the ONLY person that posts in here that doesn't play on our server. While I'm not saying I don't want people to play on our server (I'd actually really like it if you DID), I just wish there were more people in here discussing Minecraft in general and not just all sorts of server talk.

I understand what you mean.  I would like people to talk with me about the game in general too.

Now that I have upgraded my video card, I might want to check out the server some time.  I'm more of a survivalist though, and I don't build anything that fancy.  Not sure how that fits in with the server.  I'm sure it would be cool to check out all the stuff on the server for myself though.

Server is designed to go well with players of all styles. We have Multiverse, which lets us run multiple worlds off of the same server. You can log into our server and access like six different maps. As a result, it's really, REALLY easy to find a good place to survival it up.

In other news, Minecraft 1.9 pre-release 5 (which is now being referred to as 1.9.5 PR) has been made available. I'm getting ready to start toying around with these 1.9 pre-builds... I'm thinking there's going to be some rather interesting stuff to see. They're still planning on the next official build to be on Nov 18 (three weeks from tomorrow), and that release is still going to be the complete Minecraft 1.0. As it stands, it looks like all new features are officially known and are just being smoothed out now.
