Well Xcom will be a console exclusive. Gunloco is an exclusive as well... but nobody has high expectations for it.

Is Uncharted considered a shooter now?

i hope to see every one of you when i make "i believe KZ3 will sell 4-5M before 2011 ends what do you believe in" thread and not wimping it out like in my last few threads

whats up with these comments for it?

"could sell close to 2 Million before the year is done"

"I could see Killzon 2 selling 2 million next year"

"Perhaps 2.5 by years end"

KZ2 sold 2.2M end of 09 have ya'll not seen all the trailers/game play vids? 3D, Move support? new melee revised controls?, slide to cover?, teh graphics?

i hate to do this so early but KZ3... that shit is going to do close to 2M 1st week alone and cruise into the 4-5M range by years end

Uncharted 2 wont get close to Gears 2.

Gears 2 currently sits at 5.9 Million units sold. Will sell over 6 Million before Gears 3 releases too, probably.

I can't see Uncharted 2 hitting 5 Million really. If it does I will be really surprised. Suppose we will have a better idea after this Holiday season is said and done.

well it can if it gets the same bundle treatment as UN1.

it's already near 4m without bundles.

Resistance 3 - 2.5 million if well advertised (kind of a finish the fight thing like Halo 3 got)

Killzone 3 - 3 million assuming its better than Killzone 2

Gears 3 - Probably 4-5 million. I know what you're saying, the other ones sold 6 million...well Gears 3 will have to compete against (and lose to) Modern Warfare 3 thanks to the delay


Possibly, But CoD traditionally launches in Nov and Mark Rein tweeted today that Gears 3 would launch in sept, which gives it a pretty good window for sales.

You know I'm usually right behind your predictions... But come on man. We all said the exact same things about Killzone 2.

Killzone 2, has as of right now sold 2.4 Million. The best I can see KZ3 doing is mimicking what Uncharted did from Uncharted - Uncharted 2.

1st one did 770k 1st week dont think only 300-500k more buyers for KZ3, i see more like 800-1M putting it at 1.6-1.8 which is pretty close to 2M

KZ3 will do what Uncharted 2 did to Uncharted 1 sales and review wise KZ3 will out meta Halo Reach

if thats so then laughing out loud two times in this thread

U1 did 130-180k 1st week depending which week you use or you can even combined them and get 310k then U2 came along and did 850k thats almost triple, KZ2 did 770k first week double will be 1.5m triple will be 2.2M so i use something in between thats why i said close to 2M for KZ3

then for 1st year 12 months U1 did 1.7M U2 did or is going to do 3.7M thats more than double the sales again, so if you say you believe its going to mimic U1vsU2 that would put KZ3 at 1.5M 1st week and at least 4.6M end of 2011 since KZ2 did 2.3 all of 09, 1.5M plus 1st week and 4M plus end of 2011 is around what i think is possible so i dont get what all this "come on man" is about and no sony fans didnt say that for KZ2 b/c there was no 3D, Move, slide to cover, mech's, jet packs, snow and jungle environment, and new melee system and tighter controls back then it was just graphics they were hyping about
