1. I can't think of any title that's ever had a successive run that only had 100 units. That would be absolutely stupid. "Hey, we've sold 800,000...now we want our next run to be just 200 units." You also lose bulk rate pricing at such a low production rate.
2. Tell me this guy isn't comparing the turnaround rate of cartridges to optical media?
3. His example is retarded. It doesn't cost $12 million to manufacture 1 million units. $12 per unit? But again, comapring cartridges to optical media. But it's most certainly not $12 to manufacture a unit. Nintendo doesn't even take $12 per unit in royalties.
4. I think Nintendo has done quite a bit in cross-promotion this generation. Look how many non 1st party titles they've published or helped co-market.
