I don't think so.
MS budget is huge, but so is Kinect, Reach and Fable. All three will see a decent amount of ads. Just like the ones we already see on VGC.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
Microsoft advertise the hell out of this bundle they may be able to steal some numbers from GT5.
I do not think it will ultimately steal any GT5 thurnder it may ignite a second wave of strong sales for FM3 during the holiday period. Top Gear is very popular but the aspect you need is not Stig's garage as nice as that is but you need the reasonable priced car and the track to race it on.

Mhh , I smell some fear ? Microsoft and their money... This is a action to take away sales from the GT5/Ps3 sales. Doubt it will do much. And TopGear has always been talking about GT. If Sony is smart , they pay a lot of money to BBC/Topgear. It has 250 million views every week. A GT5 item like comparing it to real life , would be smart.

The most watched show ever is Super Bowl XLIV with 106.5 million viewers.
That 250 million is the number of people who've seen at least one episode of Top Gear since the beginning of the show (in 2002).
So you don't get the Top Gear test track?
That kind of seems a bit rubbish, and isn't going to much to stop GT 5 from winning...
