Apparently you didn't actually read my posts, since I said a lot of positive things about x360.

The only other thing I said was that MS is already in a position where they could drop the price again if they had to, and Sony is not. Fact.

Just an idea, but how about we not list games that don't have names/aren't announced yet?

I remember how GC list wars back in the day always used to be something like 50% unannounced multiplats (that ended up never being announced), unannounced project by x developer (that was never announced), unconfirmed 1st party title, etc. Lets just wait till its announced shall we (example: Ace Combat 6 PS3, Unannounced Rockstar project)

Well, we won't be able to determine that either way until the time comes, so let's drop it for now. And the reason I say that MS can drop the price if they want and Sony can't is (correct me I'm wrong, but please don't flame me) as far as I understand, MS is more or less breaking even on the 360 right now, whereas Sony is losing boatloads.

@eugene:
there is NO system seller on x360 in 2008.
maybe GTA4 - but this is VERY questionable, what will chose ps2 user, cheaper x360 or maybe same price as 40gb ps3 +sony BRAND.
GTA made it`s name on PS2 console.
16 mln. x360 by the end of 2008 is FAR away from 120 mln. ps2.
geow2(if comes) probably won`t move any system, because all who wanrted geow already bought x360.

alan wake, too human, ng2, fable2, iu, SC, these game are nothing near MGS4, KZ2, FFXIII, GT5 and maybe LBP with T6 and etc.

About inferior, it`s just your opinion, because some people are happier with warhawk, ratchet, uncharted, HS, lair and etc.
But anyway, x360 had ONE year ahead. It`s normal, to have some more to offer. BUT not for long. =)


Cellius is vaporware, SO4 still has no announced platform (the TGS talk were just rumors, not official - will probably hear about it at the jump festa), there's some other issues with that list.

 Also, you are the kind of guy who one year ago would have dismissed bioshock as a hardware mover, in fact I doubt you were even aware of its existance. Who's to say Alan Wake won't be the next bioshock? it's developer has a track record. Do not forget Gears 2 might come for xmas 2008 - and Gears 1 moved half a million 360's last november. 

On top of it, why do you dismiss IU like that? it has a way bigger profile than several games on your ps3 list. 

Your whole post reeks of uncontrolled fanboyism. It's time to accept the ps3 is not making a comeback in the states (and with latest data at hand, it's doubtful it'll pull one in japan).

Yeah, ps3 made around 10 mln. in first year, just like x360 and ps3 (both around 8 mln.), but anyway pretty close.

With all games,. which are comign to ps3 in 2008, sony has BIG chance to hit ~25 mln. by the end of year.

If x360 would be a success, it should sell TWICE as much as it was selling WHOLE year.

And gears was first UE3.0 game, now geow 2 has nothing to impress with, another 5-6h of gamestory + 10 map, are you joking?

i HOPE you do understand, that EACH PC multiplatofrm game make x360 LESS attractive? =)

In whose world? Not mine. I have a 360 and a games-capable PC, but I choose a 360 version of the game every time, if it's on PC and 360.

 Don't assume that because you feel one way (or more importantly, saying something one way supports your argument more) that everyone feels the same as you do.
