Well... people were trashin the wii before it came out. They called it a fad for 3 straight years.

And after all this time, destroying everything... people STILL trash the wii. So yeah... I don't think is happening.

Could you guys please be more insulting and annoying? Because I doubt anything has annoyed me more than this, and I want to see how far it goes!

Kinect will obviously be big at launch but it should also have the Wii syndrome, (lol I said Wii Syndrome!).

You guys know why the Wii has the smallest library of highly rated games? Because TP developers like to half-ass their software on it. Yet Kinect is in the exact same situation as the Wii was and I don't see Kinect having more than 3-5 million selling games. Look at the Wii and you see alot of good games but 90% of them are from Nintendo, now how many Nintendo games are going to be released on Kinect? None! So tell me 360 fans, who's going to drive Kinect into huge sales? EA? Ubisoft? Activision? These dev's like to play it very safe regardless of what they tell you so my prediction is that Kinect will be big for the next 6 months but without 'real' (meaning good games) support for the system the sales will begin to die down due to the poor games released on Kinect.

It's not about devices, it's about games. I'm sorry to say it but you can't have fun on a FPS or adventure game with no controller. I mean what are the developers gonna do, just release dance and party games? Oh! maybe quiz games where you actually have to raise your hand like in Social Studies! Or possibly sign language games where you can learn how to talk to the hearing impaired. That would be good for kids (and popular too) for when they want to insult the teacher without their understanding. On a serious note though Kinect would probably work very well with games like Heavy Rain where we actually perform movements and such but in all honesty, as far as video games go, I don't believe Kinect is here to provide great gaming and we all know it will never deliver in that sense.

So here's to MS for creating a useless tool for us hardcores.

And another thing too, while the dev's are making games on Kinect for the casuals, we the hardcores are getting less games because the dev's are too busy trying to figure out Kinect, then they begin to make crappy games for Kinect and then Kinect begins to... oh know I've gone cross eyed.

After 5 years in last place, Playstation people still put their faith in Twisted Metal and Syphon Filter to turn it around.

If anything, if Kinect were largely successful, I'd fully expect more anti-Xbox bile, if only because PS3 people are always loudest when in the minority.

Not once have I heard someone say that TM or SP will turn things around, having said that, I do think that they are going to raise the systems sales by at least 12345% but I've been wrong once before.

And doesn't matter how much Kinect sells it only has spot jumping and running while standing still. And yes on-rails all the way!!
