What?

Aren't you a boy. Fan of the 360?

Right now there are many people interested in the close sales race between the 360 and PS3.  But what if Kinect changes all that?  What if it becomes a monster and suddenly the gap between the consoles grows out of control?  Suddenly it's a 8 million gap, then it's 10 million, then it's 15 million and only those people that stare at car accidents continue to look?

We all saw it happen with the Wii and although people will bring up its sales it's usually nothing like the 360 and PS3 race because everyone knows it doesn't matter in the end.  What if the 360 becomes that kind of second place console?  Could it lead to far less trolling as 360 fanboys take the high road and don't rub it in and PS3 fanboys are humbled into not posting anti-360 threads?  Only time will tell...

I don't care if you want to call me a fanboy, you're opinion on me means very little I assure you.

What has me being a fan of 360 got to do with anything? I said what would happen if Kinect became successful, PS3 and Wii fanboys (and even fans) becoming more bitter and trolling more.

Although it's hard to imagin you being more bitter and hateful towards 360 isn't it?

It's already pretty obvious most of them are scared of the potential Kinect has.  Move was supposed to be the equalizer in the new HD playing field...but Move hasn't done much.

Kinect may or may not have a large impact, we will see, but for now there is a large potential for it to blow us away and that is threatening to the PS3 die hards.  Up until launch they will continue to belittle it and dismiss it as a laggy eyeToy .  If it's successful, they will say it will suffer from the Wii syndrome where it will be cool for a month and then collect dust and if it's not successful they will say told you so.
