NBA Jam it is then.

Anyone have any excerpts from the NBA Jam review? I'd like to know specifically what they enjoyed about it.

The NP staff liked the whole game and they even said its better than the original. They also said the game is very addicting when playing w/others. The game disc is packed and thers is a lot of content, two seperate campaign modes and a lot of unlockable characters. They basically had nothing negative to say except that the game online play.

That's  a strong score for NBA Jam. Some what dissapointed that Wii Party only got 7.5 (What does NP normally give Mario Party games?) and very dissapointed about Flip's Twisted World, I thought it looked like a very good platformer. I guess the long delay didn't do much to make it a better game.

Why the evil score for Wii Party? I guess it is became some kind of common sense in the media that the Wii series are all crappy titles.

Above: still the best game of the year.

Nah, the previous "Wi ___" title was Wii Sports Resort and it got an 85 from Nintendo Power.

I looked Mario Party 8 in Metacritic - Nintendo Power also gave it a 75, saying "It's not a perfect game, but it is a perfect fit for the Wii, and will likely be a series favorite for fans". So Wii Party should be fine (just look at it in Japan - non stellar beginning, great legs, that tells me it's a word of mouth game).

Currently Playing: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Anticipating: Xenoblade, The Last Story, Mario Kart 7, Rayman Origins, Zelda SS, Crush3D, Tales of the Abyss 3DS, MGS:Snake Eater 3DS, RE:Revelations, Time Travellers, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, Luigi's Mansion 2, MH TriG, DQ Monsters, Heroes of Ruin

Fifa: 8.

Pfft...

Remember: Nintendo Power also gave Okami a 7.5, so it's not like it can't be enjoyed by (many) others out there. ^_~

OT: Wow, impressive score for NBA Jam! Although it's not looking like I'll be buying the game myself, it definitely has the potential to land on my Christmas list.

BOOMSHAKALAKA!
