Forums - Nintendo - (Rumor) Avatar bundled in 3DS???

Yes, seems like Shane-B posted that in their podcast

If you guys listened to Shane B on today's 8-4 podcast he said the rumor is that Avatar will be a pack-in on the 3DS. Make's a ton of sense to me and if it's true I'll definitely grab a 3DS day one.

That's different from the typical Nintendo is true, usually Nintendo avoid to put the multifunctional aspect of their systems as a priority, remainds me the PSP launch with the free UMD movie.

This will be TOO AWESOME

An awesome movie with an awesome machine

and in 3D!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Fantastic idea if true. Bundle the best received 3D movie with a device who's biggest pull (outside of Nintendo games) will be its 3D features.

Keep in mind this won't be like UMD as I'm sure Nitendo's solution to multimedia will remain direct download vs some crappy unique media. Carts will remain for their games, but other content will move to download only and that is perfectly fine for mobile based users as proven with the i-Product line alone.

it would be amazing. Though I doubt it would fit on the 3ds´s memory, but I guess an sd card would fix that.

If this is indeed true, Nintendo has come out with more first round knock out punches than Mike Tyson for the 3DS.

It's almost like they built up this huge war chest from the DS and Wii and are ready to unleash hell.

This is why I can't wait to actually know the full details of the 3DS and its launch. It will give us a glimpse of what Nintendo will probably do for the next home console in 2012.

As long as this "pack In" doesnt make it cost more neat. If it raises the price ug

That would be pretty sweet, though hopefully it won't raise the price. Not by too much at least...

You know what could be better... if we can choose the movie we wanted xD

What other 3D movies would you choose, the only other ones I've seen are Up and Alice in Wonderland.
