What choice I have to check?

Fact is 360's already closer to 50 million now, then throw in it's selling as well or better then PS3 overall .. Xbox has more BIG game console pushers ( Like Halo ) then PS3 ( Just check out the top ten game sellers on each console, there's a big difference in units sold! )

More software has been sold on the Xb360 ( 120 million more games ) and this console seems to be growing fast now with slim shady out XB360 seems to be revived.. they are adding ESPN to XB Live in Nov and making other improvements like to the chat.. refining it

Well, the 360 is ahead now, and has outsold the Wii for 14 straight weeks or something (including this one, which in turn has been outselling the PS3 for all of that time as well, excluding this one). The 360 is going to get to 50 million first no contest. I think the current 55 people who picked the PS3 to reach it first are just joking. No amount of fanboyism could ever get you to seriously pick the PS3 in this case.

xbox 360 will most likely reach 50 million first but it depends on how big of an impact GT5 has as well as Kinect. Isf Kinect is successful than Microsoft will likely reach 50 million by the end of this year. If sony actually pushes GT5 and bundles it along with huge advertisement campaign then PS3 might reach 50 million first. All in all I think the PS3 will still outsell 360 LTD when the PS3 hits $200. But then again i could be wrong and the society is getting a little dumber so people might not see how good of a deal a PS3 is at $200.

No contest at 50 imo.  PS3 may not close the gap until the 60m mark and should have a comfortable lead by 70m.  Anything farther in the future and we're into the Nextbox timeframe I believe.  The gap means less and less as we hypothetically travel through time anyway.  They are both poised to sell truckloads of software without worrying about userbase too much.  This is all without knowing what will actually happen with Move and Kinect, future price cuts and boosts from particular IPs. so it's a pretty rough guesstimate obviously.  It depends mostly on which co. is focused more on profit and who wants the silver medal.

The PS3 will have to start outselling the XBox 360 by a margin of approximately 2:1.  Which is not happening.  I'm not sure if it has ever happened, save certain regions at certain times, but not WorldWide.  At this point, the XBox has just too big a lead to be overtaken before the 50 million mark.

I agree with some of what you said, but Sony has been rumored to be burning the midnight oil to try and get their "next gen" console out alittle before MS does.. they dont want to be behind again.. What did the PS2 have in common with the PS3? NOTHING, it came out 1.5 years before the Gamecube and nearly TWO WHOLE years before the Xbox.. when you come out 1st you're more likely to lead if you have developer support..

Lastly Sony's PS3 is 120 million game units behind the Xbox 360 ... thats nearly 9 billion dollars.. they are in last place.. and that means they need their new better console faster, they can't hope it sells games like the PS2 which was the #1 seller last gen, because the PS3 will not do the same thing as the PS2 was able to and this is clear.. 

Obviously PS3, because as we all know from last year the PS3 will overtake the overall sales of the 360  bythis year...
