Does anyone know how the "exclusive" modes in Goldeneye will work?

They are labeled "exclusive" until Dec. 31. Does that mean that anyone will be able to download the Best Buy or Gamestop pre-order bonuses in 2011?  Or will they magically open on the CD? Or am I missing something?

Well if you pre-order it from amazon.co.uk you get a multiplayer invisibility mode unlocked.

Essentially all copies get unlock codes much like some "DLC" for HD titles its just on the disc and these codes unlock the content, the servers for Goldeneye supposedly regulate this so you can't simply find codes on GameFAQs and have everything the first week, just after Dec 31st you get all modes cause the servers will let you unlock it.

I can't decide if im gonna get this game or not. Probably not, and I'll just stick with Conduit 2



 Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Conduit 2 was pushed back man, you gonna be waiting, but really I think Goldeneye is going to end up being the better game.

Goldeneye will probably be decent in its own right, although it will likely suck if you go into it thinking it will be as revolutionary as the original.

OT: I just wanna go on record and say that the "exclusive" modes is a pretty hamfisted way of generating sales, but at least it shows that Activision's actually gonna try and sell the game.
