Forums - General - Microsoft employees dance at mock iPhone funeral

that's hillarious

No, we are not making this up. Microsoft employees really did dance at a mock iPhone funeral held to commemorate the launch of Windows Phone 7. Warning: Really bad dancing alert.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

If anyone should have done this it should have been google. . .

Isn't it usually considered stupid to declare yourself the winner before the race has begun?

EDIT: Oh, what am I thinking. I've witnessed over two decades of console wars, after all.

That's exactly what I thought of when watching the video :)

Quite interesting though - why did they pick the iPhone? Do they believe Windows Phone 7 will take the biggest market share from Apple? I seriously doubt that.

A few days ago btw I read that Gartner believes Microsoft's OS market share in the smartphone segment will be as low as 3,7% by 2014, so they don't seem to believe that Windows phone 7 will be a huge success.

Wow, they took Sony's arrogance at the beginning of this gen and multiplied it with the amount of stars in the sky! That leaves you with some really bad karma.

This is why I love corporate America. Sony and Microsoft excell passionately at what they do in their marketing schemes.

Keep up the amazing work! <3
