don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^
people were just butthurt over Nintendo's E3 2008 and had a grudge against the game

This was the boiling point for some nintendo fans when this happened and some felt shafted. I remember the reginator saying " we got animal crossing" at the end as if he could pull off saying that it would appease the hardcore as much as a new zelda or F-zero. I still haven't played it, but from what I heard, its more like a toy than an actual game. I still need to get a bunch of games for my wii but considering how I finally ordered super mario galaxy 2 ($17 on amazon new :) ) it will be a long time before I even consider playing wii music. |
as for Animal Crossing ,that game was addicitng as hekll, I put 170 hours into the game alone and couldnt put it down.
I agree its better than Wii sports and Wii fit imo
I would say mainly the quality of the quality of the sound of the instruments which is very low and the song selection. other than that it is fine, but then again this is a music game and those cannot be forgiven. this game is truly just 5 minute fun then it gets old

wii sports maybe. but no way it is anywhere near wii fit or plus. I have played those to over 60 hours the pig thing turned gold and all. and if you dedicate enough time to it you will find amazing. I know I did and believe me I found the game pretty lame the first few times I used it. I almost quit. but I truly love it. wii sports is a different story though its fun I would say that music is probably better
Because it was made by Nintendo and the quality of their games not named Donkey Kong Barrel Blast is much higher than Wii Music. Wii Music is much better than Dead Space: Extraction though, so if it was made by EA, it would be considered phenomenal.

Wii Music sold 2.85M. For 95% of games out there, it would be a rousing success.
But that is more than 10M less than any other Wii game that has been out for at least one year.
It also had a play mechanic that was so different from the Guitar Hero/Rock Band matching that most people "did not get it."
And finally, the presentation really hurt its reputation among the Internet savy Wii users.

It wasn't a bad game. Just mediocre and forgettable and fell way short of the Wii brand in both sales and gameplay.
