On topic: Don't ask don't tell is probably best for homosexuals in the army. Its not gonna go over too well when you announce you're gay to a bunch of marines. I don't think its the best place/time to come out of the closet.

Hey, but that law is on it's way to still be around. It's the gay law that's about to fall and she can steal credit for.

It's not like they're going to force people to tell their sexual orientation to others.
The problem is, if you violate don't ask don't tell.... your kicked out of the army.
That is... if you violate it and your gay.
