Forums - Nintendo - Eternal Eden 3DS remake announced

From Aussie-Nintendo:

Canadian indie developer Blossomsoft are planning to give their 2009 PC RPG Eternal Eden a full makeover for the 3DS, having recently announced the remake via Twitter.

Eternal Eden is an old-school styled adventure created with the RPG Maker VX program. It was the first commercially released game using this version of RPG Maker, apparently. The story follows three kids who have been banished from a land of paradise for eating from the forbidden tree, loosely based on that story from The Bible about Jesus on a skateboard.

Thrown into a parallel world of darkness, Eternal Eden takes place across the two worlds, as events in one affect the other. Considering the original PC version was released through digital distribution, this could very well be a '3DSWare' title.

You can check out a demo of the PC game here.

"Jesus on a skateboard"

Had me right there. Only a full Mario koopa shell surfing game would have a more awesome premise.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

The iPhone apps aren't what they were looking for to ignore Nintendo over. Here they have no choice but to support it.
