Enslaved developer Ninja Theory has said on its newly-made Twitter account that it’s to announce its new game at TGS this week.

Here’s the tweet: “The new Ninja Theory game will be announced at Tokyo Game Show this week.”

Here’s your maths lesson for the day: Capcom’s announcing four new games during the show, while it’s been heavily rumoured Ninja Theory has been working on Devil May Cry 5.

The firm’s Keiji Inafune has said the sequel will have a “western feel” to it, while Ninja Theory boss Tameem Antoniades was even coy to VG247 about even debunking such a rumour during a Namco event in Barcelona in May.

Most likely, your answer is that we’ll see a Ninja Theory-developed Devil May Cry 5 announced at Tokyo Game Show this week.

Maybe.

Ninja Theory’s latest, Enslaved from Namco Bandai, releases on October 8 for PS3 and 360.

I wonder how Ninja Theory would do DMC if that's what they're actually doing. Maybe we will be rid of the over the top cinematics that everybody wants to play but aren't allowed?

Ninja Theory is killing the industry as far as single player campaigns go and I would love for them to make DMC 5.

I don't think we need a developer who made a ripoff of a game that was already ripping off the DMC series. The series was fine when it was being developed internally (aside from some fanboy whining).

Devil May Cry 4 was a disappointment, so I don't look forward to this.

this just in, the latest NT tweet reads "Happy 3rd Anniversary of Heavenly Sword." I am now praying to Izanagi that HS 2 is what they're talking about.
