It's day 3. The mafia somehow managed to skip day 2 is the general answer.
We don't know if Palom and Porom are exactly dead. They may come back or stay like this for he rest of the day.

Sorry for the long inactivity... I will read threw the posts of the new day ASAP! But I have some important info right now! I am not allowed to vote today because I was silenced at night.
Anyhow, here are my thoughs:
I'll start off by a little theory I have with Porom and Palom:
I think the option with these two is that they can either stay dead for the rest of the game, or some role can manag to revive them.
If this role fails to revive them, then they stay like this. Otherwise, if they're supposed to come back automatically, then dtewi wouldn't have revealed Hat's and Darth's roles so easily.
From both Heph and GoW i understand this:
Gow claims he targeted Heph and got a killing role in return.
Surprisingly this backs-up Heph's story, because if he did reflect everybody, GoW's role bounced off to someone else, and got a killing role.
I'm thinking that they're both pro-town. It's not like GoW's role contradicts Heph.
Also, I think it's pointless for Heph not to role-claim. Even if it is to make it harder for the mafia to fake name-claim, how high is the chance they would say your name anyways? Not roleclaiming is adding an extra layer of confusion to the town.

I think you could be right about Palom and Porom. I have another theory, though. Maybe they've effectively become zombies: they cannot speak or vote, but they count as townspeople, which is to say that the Mafia must match all of us, PLUS Palom and Porom, in number. But I doubt that they are immortal.
Another explanation is that they are only turned to stone for today, and their VGC names had to be revealed to explain why Hat and Darth weren't contributing. This would also fit better with what appeared to be Darth's attitude towards his first game of Mafia.
Only time will tell, in the end.
HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's always a chance of another mafia faction or cult.
No evidence has popped up yet pointing either way, so right now it's pointless to talk about it.

Okay I want to explain my theory on the missing day:
Mafia used the ability to skip the day.
All actions by Townies were carried over to night 2, which means that given protection lasted for two nights.
So in fact palom and polom made their action on night 1 but due to the time manipulation it was also carried on to night 2.
Mafia would have had two kills available, not beeing affected by the manipulation, but due to the protection given through the spell break they had no killing ability. Doom was cast by either a SK or a pro-town (though pro town is very unlikely...)
To explain what happened to me: I got silenced at night... I pretty much believe this is a pro-town role, so I have lost my ability to vote for today...

Forcing them to show their identities seems a bit unfair, though.
Especially when it's backed-up by the mod, and they'll essentially be proved pro-town..
