About the Hephaestos voters.....

Yeah....thats kinda "meh"ish.... I'd suspect dsister too if not his love for random votes for no real reason.....other than getting people to talk.

Alright, since we have a good 36 hours left of today, a question for TruckOSaurus.

What, exactly, motivated you to make people confirm that Role=Alignment? It seems like a peculiar thing to do.

And, while we're at it, one for TheRepublic.

Why are you in favour of a day one lynch? Do you know something we don't? Please share.

I will answer those questions -

For the one you asked TOS - It helps the town obviously. The town starts off with no info at all. Now we know that name = alignment indeed as so far, everyone who has said so have confirmed this. Its pretty important as now, the mafia have to come up with fake name claims, and possibly clash with another's name claim.

theRepublic's question -

In the games I've played so far on VGC, people tend to vote No lynch on day 1 because of the risk of losing a townie. I'm pretty sure people are sick of this and are willing to take that risk as they might just get lucky.

Its not that easy darth..it never is...claiming someone to be innocent just like that is a serious accusation. However, I have simply said that TOS is unlikely to be scum, NOT TOS isn't scum. 
There is always the possibility of him being anti-town, but I simply stated my opinion on what he did.

He has initiated, by FAR...the most important thing so far in the game for the judgement of a player's alignment. If he is anti-town, I doubt he would have done that.

But then again, by doing so, he may be an anti-town person who is trying to win over the favour of the town.But I doubt anyone would do that. Confusion among the town is something the mafia would love to have. What TOS has initiated would come back to bite him in the ass later in the game when anyone even thinking of name claiming an evil name would get lynched because the town know that they're anti-town !

name = alignment or not is something that the town usually find out as they progress in the game.

Another possibility is that TOS has a pro-town name, but is anti-town.....so what he has done would cause any pro-town peeps with anti-town names get lynched. But then again, judging by the replies he got for that question, its safe to say that is not the case.

No its not that easy......

But if TOS initiated the most important thing done in the game so far (your own words)

Then you initiated the 2nd most important thing done so far....trying to predict which side someone is on.

I can see where your coming from on this, but I was just wondering why you said what you did.

hmm I wonder why he said that.

Does he say that in every Mafia game? (assuming he has played it before on VGC)

If not then it  has something to do with his role in this game......can someone be immune to being lynched?

Or is he Mafia and knows who Hephastos is (who most people were lynching) and wants to get rid of him!!!!
