I'll point out that even though I varied between suspecting and not suspecting Heph seemingly at random, I never voted for him.

Bah, sorry guys, this is taking longer than I thought. It takes like 45 minutes to get everything set up for day correctly. I just finished organizing the night actions, so after I put in the votes and flavor text, day will start. It will be in around half an hour.

Night streaked by in a haze of tiredness and guilt for Cid. He had killed a defenseless, innocent, girl and he couldn't bear to sleep. He was determined to stay up the entire night and see what the antagonists had done during the night. He was going to avenge her....

Then the most peculiar thing he ever heard came up through his window. He heard whiny, nasally laughter and horrible, dreadful screams. He jumped to his window, and saw in the semi-darkness the silhouettes of two people. One standing who seemed to be laughing, and one on the ground clutching his head in unmistakable agony. Heart thundering in chest, Cid jumped the entire staircase and hit the ground in a rolling position. He crashed through his door again and ran towards the screaming victim.

The person who was laughing had left the scene. He saw a person on the ground with silver hair and a masamune. Cid's eyes widened and excitement flew thrugh his veins. The figure was stirring very slightly and was on his side. Cid turned him onto his back.

He was chuckling feebly. His eyes were full of insanity.

"Ha... ha... ha... I'm gonna die... but not before... I have my revenge... we poisoned the one who is calling himself this pseudonym... KANTOR."

Cid couldn't make heads or tails of who Kantor was and left the evil Sephiroth to die... but not before kicking his stupid face.

He turned towards the rising sun, and saw a little girl silhouetted in the distance... she seemed vaguely familiar...

"Staring is rude you know!"

Porom!!

Cid's heart leapt and he rushed forward.

"Who healed you?" he said after he met up with her.

"I don't know. They left before I could see them. Palom is still Stone though... I guess they had to leave before I could see them."

Cid smiled at her. At last something good had happened to them...
