Forums - PC - Any good survival horror PC games??

I'm not really a big PC gamer....but I happen to have a PC so what the heck, I might as well use it for gaming.

Are there any really good survival horror games for the PC? Something close to Resident Evil or Silent Hill?

Also, it would help if they were older games so my wallet won't become anorexic......

Thankz yew!

Dead Space, but it controls bad w/o 360 controller haha XD, System Shock 2 is an older game that's really good... there's some older ones on PC that people always talk about but I forget... , because I didn't really play horror games till ps2 era on console or computer.

Like SH etc... for whatever reason, minus System Shock 2. or other's I randomly forgot

Plus I think there was a thread yesterday... about this, you could look it up... (I don't know how to do that) with lots of answers.

I recommend checking out Amnesia: the Dark Descent. unlike RE and Silent Hill, it's in first person but it's not a shooter. download the demo in steam and see if you like it.

Good survival horror PC games :

1. Half-Life2
2. Bioshock
3. Resident Evil 5
4. Siren Blood Curse
5. Fear 2

Check out the Penumbra series and Amnesia Dark Descent. They are all by Frictional games.

haha. Oh man...Real Player. You shouldn't play that one alone for sure.

Never played myself but I imagine System Shock 2 might be worth a try. Only you might not want to try it if you still want to think Bioshock is good. Well, at least a friend of mine doesn't think nearly as highly of Bioshock as he though before playing System Shock 2.

GOG.com, we need System Shock 2. Now.
