I don't think many casual people are going to be paying the £260 for the PS3 then £50 for a starter pack then £25 for 1 game. Don't think there are many people at home with their £330 in hand waiting to rush out to get this. Thus i don't think there will be much of a spike in sales if any at all.

Actually you have a move starters pack wich also includes a 320 gb harddrive. over here it's around 340 euro's, so i guess that should be around 300 pounds?

Yeah i just noticed that. My bad didn't realise they had a new bundle coming out.

It is a nice price for a 300gb PS3. So who knows maybe it will get a bit of a spike. But i think it won't be much. I think the same for Kinect. The initial sales will be people who already own a console i would think.

I don't think we'll be able to tell if Move (Or Kinect for that matter) will really sell more systems until the holiday shopping season starts.  So it may increase by a few thousand initially, but like others have already stated, early adopters are going to be people who already own the system.

I've been saying this for weeks. In PAL the Move launch equates to a €60/£50 price cut since the starter pack is getting bundled for free with every 320 GB unit at the same price that the 250 is now so I would expect a pretty sizable bump when it launches there and despite pessimistic predictions about it's impact in America it will still have SOME effect in that region. As Leo pointed out it doesn't launch in Japan until October. Although Japan is getting a Front Mission game that week which could give a slight boost in that region.

EMEAA: 100k-115k

Americas: 70k-75k

Japan: 25k-30k

WW: 195k-220k
