I know after E3 the big question I had was would Rambi and the animal buddies make a return. I was all over freaking out that DKC wouldn't be DKC without them. But last week Nintendo revealed that Rambi would indeed be in the game. I asked the moron at the PAX booth and he was like "Who's Rambi" I'm like "He's an animal buddy" and the rep was like "What are animal buddies which game are they from" . I got pissed and said "He's the rhino from Donkey Kong Country" finally the reps like "The game is still in development and the characters in the game have not been finalized yet". I was so upset.

But when I got hom from PAX I noticed Nintendo confirmed Rambi's presence in DKC:R. This makes the game a must buy for me it was really fun to play and now that Nintendo confirmed Rambi's in the game I am more excited then ever. I am now fully satisfied what about you?

I'm just sad that Enguarde isn't going to be in the game, DKC's water levels were some of the best in the genre with Enguarde

I will be buying this day 1(or whenever amazon ships it to me), but I'm not too thrilled to hear the similarities with NSMBW. I wan't some challenge and plenty of levels! Rambi and possibly others is awesome though!

Im happy he's in there, I just wished the game played better, it feels too loose...

When I saw the thread title, I thought it said "donkey kong racing." It reminded me of the pictures on the back of my gamecube box of a game that was never meant to be. :(

Where was said that he is going to be in the game? Or are saying this based on the boxart only? Links?

Based on the Box art, he has to be in the game if he's on the case. However that doesn't mean that you can ride him he could just appear in the game. Though I hope he's ride able in the game.
