Honestly, I think VS is being saved for Wii 2 at this point.  Biofeedback may even be one of the central hooks for the new system.

I also think it is saved for Wii2. And I doubt it will be the finger clip thing in its new format, a large part of the "huh?" reaction to the vitality sensor was not from its nature but its implementation as a finger clip, which is not very appealing.

Then again I could be wrong (part of the question being can one do biofeedback any other way except as a finger clip, e.g. a wristband or a finger touch control in the cobntroler).

I agree, it's probably not going to be the sort of hospital clip prototype we saw before.  It'll be integrated into the controller directly somehow... who knows how though?

As to DK, I have similar doubts as the OP - NSMBWii had the huge following of its DS counterpart to count on, not to mention the brand name backed by quality games such as Mario Kart (a game a LOT of Wii owners have) and Mario Galaxy. In fact having the name Mario in a game is a guarantee for many that the game will be at the very least a fairly good quality one (albeit not always to one's taste). DK on the other hand has only its  SNES past following, and isn't automatically equated with a quality brand name in the eyes of anyone else except maybe those who got it in the SNES era. Successful, yes, but HUGE? Not sure.

Years ago some exercise bicycle came with an earlobe clip, instead of a finger one. The last I tried didn't work at all, but much time has passed since them, they should be more reliable now. Modern models mostly use contacts on the handlebars, but they require to keep both hands on them to work, possibly not handy for every console game.

Two questions... one poll

MY ZELDA COLLECTION

Donkey Kong Country will sell I bet around 3-4 million copies, not Mario huge but big enough. Why will it sell, Nostalga will play a big role gamers want to go back and have an experiance like that found on the SNES. Donkey Kong as a brand is also pretty dang big even crappy titles like Barrel Blast sold over 500,000 units. I'm always pessimistic so DK could sell higher then four mill given the Wii's popularity and user base. Also keep in mind Jungle Beat (Combined Wii/GCN) sold over a million copies.

I'm sorry that it must mostly count on nostalgia, Nintendo should make more youngsters know that DK was the origin of Mario's saga and that he was the protagonist when the stocky pornstar plumber was still a nameless bunch of blocky pixels!

My question to Nintendo fans

What makes you think The Vitality Sensor is going to be successful? Why does it interest you?
