whoa, this thread just got WAY more interesting... what a bet.

btw Crazybone 126, i thought of another question for you(sorry, but im really curious about this game now). do you know if the single and multiplayer will have vehicles in the wii version?

It's not really known what kind of vehicles Treyarch have been referring to. They said they would do vehicles in a way you've never seen before, but there still isn't really concrete footage of vehicles. We've seen the helicopter in campaign, of course, that will be in the Wii version, and we've seen the chopper gunner in the online, that will also be there. Both of which are two vehicles we have seen before, so what exactly are Treyarch referring to? No one knows but them at the moment. Maybe they were referring to the RC-XD car. Doubt that, though. I can't really answer your question at the moment. I will try my best to find out the answer, though.

cool, no problem ^_^ . thanks for the info. glad to hear that at least the helicopters will be there. i really hope the RC-XD is in there to. wonder if they'll finally add kill-cam(unless of course they had it in reflex, i skipped that game).

as for LordTheNightKnight, the only way i see Goldeneye outselling CoD:BO is by nostalgia. i just dont think split-screen is as big as you think it is...at least not anymore.

Yes, the RC-XD will be there, but Killcam won't. The Wii doesn't have the RAM to support it. Again, theater mode, splitscreen, and Killcam will be the only things missing from the Wii version of Black Ops. Most people I know of don't really care too much about killcam, I always skip them anyway, as most people do. And as you can see, I don't and never did care for splitscreen in a Call of Duty game.

Wait, if two of you are taking the bet, then what are you betting in return? This is my first bet, and I don't want it to be one-way.

You made the proposal yourself, we never did any proposing. Therefore, we aren't betting. You're all by yourself. We'd much rather just have you sit in your wrongness and be wrong all by yourself, then come back to this thread and say you were wrong and that you can't try to argue against people involved in the gaming media who've talked to developers and publishers on a daily basis.

Taking the bet does mean it's best to offer someting in return.

And I've been writing over and over again that the point is those people talk to the customers, not just the gaming press. All you've done is create a cycle of assumptions, with just assurrances from each other.

Plus the wording of that post shows you aren't interested in discussion, which is what I've been trying to do here for the past I don't know how many replies. So you just want to be right, and not even consider another point of view, when I've stated over and over again, I will consider the other view, just that it has to be proven, not assumed.

So on that note, I withdraw the bet. I did it to prove a principle, and it's obvious you won't even consider the possibility that principle is right, even if I did win.

Yup!

As you can see, forum arguments are pointless, and I hardly ever contribute to them. Stop taking your video gaming hobby so seriously. It's a hobby, not a way of life.  At first, I was interested in discussion, but then your stupidity took over logic, so I no longer cared. I don't WANT to be right. I obviously AM right, as the vast majority of the viewers of this thread can tell you. You keep crying to ask the customers, so why don't you create a thread on what people care most about? Splitscreen or Online Multiplayer?

This was not about me being right or wrong. This wasn't about you being right or wrong. This was about the claim viper made being right or wrong.

I was discussing the latter. You were dicsussing along the former two, and the calling me stupid for thinking this was a debate, not a contest.

The bet wasn't to get you to admit I was wrong and you were wrong, but to admit the assumption about split screen versus online was wrong. And conversely, losing was not to get me to admit that I was wrong, but that viper's claim was right, because it had been proven to be right. THAT was what I meant by "principle". This is not about me. It's about breaking out of mindsets. All you cared about was bullshit like trying to make me wallow in wrongness. And you dare call my comments stupidity?

Plus making a thread is NOT talking to the custumers. It's just talking to people on a message board. If you think that is talking to custumers, you really showed you don't know what you're writing about. This is the same insular mentality that has made video games the out of touch industry that it is.

@ crazybone

Do you know if the mode where you play against BOTS locally will still be in BO wii? Or is that the infamous split screen that has been mentioned?

Theatre mode is such a waste of time in my eyes. I would never use it. I'd rather be playing BO than editing videos.

Um, I'm not going by if I can't live without it. I'm arguing against the claim that barely anyone wants it for FPS, and asking for honest statistical proof if the claim is right.

I'm not asking you to agree with me. I'm asking you to stop asuming my arguments are something other than they are.

I edited my post due to some people being overly sensitive to it.
