Nah, I don't make bets here on VGChartz (and I like your Avatar. ). But I seriously (seriously) doubt that Halo Reach will sell 12 million in its first 10 weeks. Seriously.

Yeah, I mean all this in good fun. I'm an optimistic man, but it's all good. I wouldn't bet my life on it by any means haha.

Could've been true if Christmas was included in those 10 weeks, but it isn't and not even Black Friday.

4 million plus first week is already for sure.  It won't do under 4.

I'm not sure if It'll do 5 million or not yet but I'm thinking it will, as crazy as that sounds the hype and demand for this game are just HUGE.

Xbox 360 Sales to DATE : 2 Weeks for Reach :

X360 196,405 (-3%) 42,711,755

43M by Reach Launch.

10M difference at least 1M is gonna buy Reach.

So Expect a HUGE Week 1 from 5-6M.

360 moved 437K Consoles when Mw2 cames out WITHOUT SLIM EFFECT! Expect 450K by Reach Launch.

Expect bigger legs for Reach due to being Xbox Exclusive people with both Console woth be buying Ps3 version coz they cant...

Expect big profits from M$ this semester due to Slim and Reach.

Expect a Exclusive Slim Black Ops edition Console... Black Ops wont be as big as Reach but will be close...

It will reach preorders of 2 million just in NA. This game should sell minimum 2 mil first or second day in NA and 1 mil around the rest of the world. It could easily sell another 1.5-2 mil worldwide over the next  6 days. It will be close to hitting 5 mil.

Modern Warfare 2 launched in November that is the main reason hardware were so high. I expect hardware sales the week Reach launches to be around 300k to 350k, that is a boost of 100k to 150k for the week. I do agree that the game is going to sell at least 5 million first week as pre-orders are currently ahead of MW2 for the 360 during the same week.


200k hardware boost during Reach launch.  No less and if it says less than that here 360 will be undertracked and NPD will prove it.

kinda suprising to me that reach sales are this high considering the hype for this game is nowhere near halo 3's hype.. atleast in terms of normal non 360 core gamers

i'll bet it won't sell more then 3,000,000 to 3,999,999. i just want Reach to beat COD Blac ops so what ever it needs to do to achieve that then thats what it want it to sell.
