Dragon Age 5 6.67%

Demon Souls 25 33.33%

Metal Gear Solid 4 20 26.67%

Fallout 3 14 18.67%

Red Dead Redemption 8 10.67%

Mod Nation Racer 3 4.00%

Total:75

Demon's Souls is absolutely fucking awesome ad you should get it, especially if you pride yourself a hardcore gamer (I better not see a thread whining about difficulty later on though).

MGS4 was extremely hugely, disappointing. I felt liek it wasted my time. If Kojima wanted to be a director he should have stuck to making movies, then again I understand why he didn't, no one in their right mind would give him any funding. That said, if you can tolerate huge amounts of bullshit and crap, 9-10 hours of it in fact, then go ahead and get it because the gameplay was a bunch of fun.

FO3, and DA:O you shouldn't bother with. Get them on PC where they are better in every form of the way.

RDR is also kind of pretty awesome, I just don't think it's as awesome as DS. SO if you are into open worlds then get this.

MNR kind of disappointing.

I would definitely recommend Fallout 3.

There was something about that game that definitley made it greater than the sum of it's parts.  The music, the story, VATS, the atmosphere, the RPG aspects...I don't think any of those things alone were revolutionary, but damn the whole game was just flat-out amazing.

To be fair though I have no interest in MGS or Mod Nation Racers, and haven't played Demon's Soul yet.  So I'm sure there are others who could give you feedback on those.

if i go for fallout, any opinions on the normal vs. the goty edition?  goty has all (or at least a lot) of the dlc and costs $55 instead of $20.  worth it?

I'm assuming you'd get this for the PS3, right?  I'm not sure how often they offer discounts on DLC on the PSN, but I would NOT pay the extra 35 for the GOTY edition.

Operation Anchorage is completely forgetable.  The Pitt is cool but could also be skipped if not found cheap.  Brotherhood of Steel is the only "must have" DLC I think (ups the experience cap) and Mothership Zeta is fun, but you could probably get these cheaper buying seperatly on PSN.

There are some good sales every once in a while on the PSN store, but I can't remember ever seeing Fallout 3 DLC in one. Don't know if that's a good or bad sign of what's to come though.

Wait crap, I forgot one...and one of the best!  Point Lookout... that was a good one too.

I might be changing my advice.  If you can get Brotherhood of Steel, Point Lookout, The Pitt and Mothership Zeta for $55, that might be worht it. Operation Anchorage is pretty crappy, but the combination of the others might be worht the price increase.

I'm diluting my message here, sorry.  Let me try again.  Fallout 3 is  the shit. in order after that I'd rate the DLC like this: Brotherhood of Steel = Point Lookout > Mothership Zeta > The Pitt >>>>> Operation Anchorage.  Hope that helps!

it does in fact, thanks!  i'll check out the cost the dlc on psn tonight so see if the normal or goty edition would be a better deal.

edit: btw...does building a character in fallout3 transfer in any way to new las vegas?  right now i think i'm going back and forth between fallout and demon souls based off of the communities responces.

I would reccommend Fallout 3 as well,  But I think you should get the GOTY edition.   While I think only one, Operation Anchorage, isnt worth the money,  the items you get from it can change the way you play the game.   The others all offer a great additional experience to the main story,  with Broken Steel being the only must have due to the level cap being rasied.

Do not get Dragon Age for PS3,  there are still quite a few issues with this game that have not been patched.  If you get it at all I would only reccommend this for the PS3.

I wouldnt get MGS4 if you havent played the others.

All other games I dont have so I wont comment on

Tough choices.  To quote the old guy from Zelda 2 on the Nes:  "I cannot help you."

Vetterman94 is right, the DLC is "BROKEN Steel", not brotherhood, like I stated, and I'd also agree that there is some cool perks at end of Operation Anchorage, just not worht the price of admission IMHO.

To answer your question though, no, there is no transfer of data between FO3 and New Vegas.  You start with a completely new character (not from a Vault, like in FO3).  Man I can't wait for New Vegas!

edit.  Damn EVERY time I spell worth, I spell it wrong.  My fingers are dyslexic apparently  :(

Get Dragon Age and Fallout 3 for now, you can get them cheap. Probably like $20-25. Then you buy Demons sould and Red Dead later after price drops.
