Forums - Sony - Don't expect to experience success when waggling with MOVE.

lmao that guy is hardcore.

Its good that it takes effort though to actually swing, wii tennis is pretty lame because you can get away with just flickin the wrist slightly. He's a pretty hardcore PS3 fanboy (the guy in that video) but he is right.

This is how motion gaming is supposed to be.

Not a waggle fest.

I really don't see much difference between that and "waggle fests." In fact, I prefer the small refined wrist movements to waving your arms around, that stuff and get really tiring fast.

there is nothing 'refined' about waggling. if it's a matter of 'getting tired', then maybe buttons is the way to go?

Back to square one, people

This has small refined wrist movements. It has back/top spin.

And it's more realistic. My little sister can beat my arse on Wii Tennis while sitting down and not even looking at the screen. I highly doubt she would be able to do the same with this. It's simply more realistic. Thus, IMO... Being a much better motion control experience.

How if the video shows it is truthful?

well the video only shows one part of one game.  its not like waggling works in every wii game.

I never said it about being truthful or not, just that it was flamebait-y.

There's a point where it's going to be too much work to play a game, thats where casuals say "screw this" towards games that hardcores don't care for.  You might as well play real ping pong at that point!

I was thinking the same thing, if its too precise for the casuals, and the hardcore don't like the games,to whom it will sell.

My wife loves table tennis.  She is also a certified athletic trainer.  This will sell to all those who are serious and will get serious.

Hackers are poor nerds who don't wash.

. . . . . . . . Is there anybody here that thought this looks remotely fun?
