wait, im paying your salary. and if its tied go and spread some hype. the fate of your family and my temper are in your hands!

Everything happens to the opposite of what I say. I said the Wii would go up and up and up and now its going down down down and the flames are getting higher. I also predicted the 360 would be replaced in 2010 with a new console and we got this BS slim revision. So my saying GT5 sales are disapointing = 15M LTD confirmed!

someone is going to get rich.

also are you the next micheal pachter?

you shall recieve praise from machina!

I am the next Pachter. Only in the future my success rate will be 0 = 100% accuracy.

Machina already bows down to Seece whom bows down to me. You do the math...

Tease.

GT will do just fine. GT4 sales for US/JP/EU were 770k/670k/1070k. Wait until the GT5 release and compare first week sales. Remember. GT4 only sold 2.5 million first week and went on to sell 10.39 million. By comparison, MW2 for the 360 sold 5 million week one and is at 11.4 million now. Double the opening week (2.5 million more sales) yet has only outsold GT4 by 1 million overall. Just because a GT game doesn't have a cataclysmic opening week (pre-orders) doesn't mean it won't still sell very well.

But GT4 has been out for what? 5 or 6 years now? And MW2 isn't even 1 year old yet.

Woots at Halo Reach, Fable 3, and Kinect Adventures!  Could not care less the other games.

I don't get why people shift the discussion entirely to what's going to happen rather than where things are now. We got some interesting numbers, I think Fable 3 is doing rather well and Halo Reach is a beast. As to GT5, it's probably too early to tell, but I doubt it can top Reach numbers overall as some seem to believe. There is no, one game sells differently than others, games simply sell differently per generation. This generation sees more sales in the first few weeks of a game's release than any other time and I don't think it'll change per game.

We have a more mature industry with a lot of talented developers and soon after a game has been released, we get a similar one that is new and steals the thunder from past games. Development cycles are getting shorter and it's harder for games to have long legs, some still do but it's still not comparable to first week numbers.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Is the demand for HAWX 2 really this low?  I mean it's 1 week till launch and still not in the top 50.

Apparently I am in the minority by having a passion for flight sim games, but didn't realize how small of a minority.  Feel kinda silly for pre-ordering now..LOL

Wow that actually is really impressive.

I though Fable 3's pre-orders were looking awfully strong.
