Top 5 increases:

1. Halo: Reach X360 (203,984)

2. CoD: Black Ops X360 (84,158)

3. CoD: Black Ops PS3 (46,198)

4. Fable III X360 (34,310)

5. Metroid: Other M Wii (29,139)

6. Fallout: New Vegas X360 (21,433)

7. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood PS3 (12,249)

8. Medal of Honor X360 (11,467)

9. Final Fantasy XIV Online PC (10,547)

10. Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep PSP (10,315)

Great numbers for those top four. Fable III may surprise a few people.

I want to expand that to the top 10 again. Pre-orders are still favoring the X360, but considering Wii games do well regardless of Pre-orders, that doesn't matter. Nice to see a PSP game on the list,  although it may be the last one, (except for maybe God of War).

I noticed no one put the Gran Turismo 5 vs PS3 CoD comparision, so I'm doing it. However I hve no clue how to make a table like that without manually typing every number in, so I just quoted this guy from last week, and added new figures.

That is how everybody does it...

How do I remove the quotations from the table and make it my own table?

lol just copy the table and paste it into your post.

No need to quote anyone.

I tried that and just got a blank space. I'll fiddle a bit more next time, thank you.

Wow at Halo Reach numbers It will be interesting to see If the numbers pick up next week or If It will drop off like MW2 did. It looks like COD Black OPS will actually outsell Halo Reach on the Xbox 360 if the pre orders for it keep up. Also good for Fable 3 pre orders they got quite a big boost I wonder how it's doing compre to Fable 2 pre orders.GT5 seems to be fluctuating from 6-10 thousand a week doesn't seem to be increasing that isn't good for it my estimates is that It wil do 7 million worldwide and I called it that Fable 3 was going to outsell it eventually in America and people didn't believe me.

As for Move and Kinect, Move doesn't look like it's going to be a success with only 2 weeks to go and only 26,000 pre orders not too good for it maybe that is why Sony said this week they didn't expect big numbers for Move the first day so the press don't bash it when they see the numbers. As for Kinect it seems like it will do modestly with 99,000 pre orders but it won't be what Microsoft is  hoping for as in Wii like success but it still has 10 weeks to go so it might surprise us but I doubt it. I'm only a little optimistic for Kinect only because I haven't seen any advertising for it on TV yet.

Why the hell are people still pre-ordering Black Ops en mass?!?!?

At least Halo Reach is still having pretty decent pre-orders (should really have twice that many pre-orders for how good of a game its gonna be)

Fable 3 is having amazing pre-orders, it might just be able to make it to 4 million.

Because many clearly loved MW2 (seeing it legs, map pack sales and general online activity)

And many of those don't know Treyarch are making Black Ops

It shows Wii is better at selling software than PS3

However I must add

Gran Turismo 5 charted, should top Just Dance 2 easily.

GT games historically have legs...its the last franchise that I'd expect to sell 5 million first week.

I expect to see plenty of "GT5 sales are disappointing" threads from people who don't realize this.

The GT5 sales are disapointing.

Tease.

I'm not saying GT5 will have legs in a matter of absolute fact, I'm saying the franchise is known for that. Looking at the Prologue, I think it wouldn't be a bad prediction, however.

The Prologue won't teach you anything. Previous main games have come out 6 months to a year after the Prolouge, this one? 2.5 - 3 years in some places, meaning if GT5 HAD come out 6 months after, it more than likely would have stumbled to 2 million.

i can say the same thing for halo 3.

What about it?

if halo 4 released 6 months after it, it would have never have reached 8 million.

point is halo isnt a game about great legs and at 6 months of sales it was about 7.5 million(im not sure), so 6 months after release it sold more then 3 million which is a lot.  prologue teaches us that their is an audience for gt5 and that the game will have legs.

8 million / 2 million? The difference is vast. And your anology doesn't work.

so what? point is if another game in the franchise releases 6 months after its going to halt the sales of the previous game released. god seece, you cant have an open mind. also if you look at it the first 6 months of halo 3 sales are about 72% of its sales. so if halo 4 released 6 months after it would have had a 30% decrease. which is a lot.

if gt5: prologue teaches us anything is that racing game have legs. look at forza.

Being in 3rd place never felt so good
