That was the Boost Guardian. Even one of the developers admitted they couldn't beat the boss; they needed debug mode.

the only game i ever through my controller was dbz budokai 3 for ps2. the third form of frieza where you have to play as kid gohan i think. i still swear it was rigged. hardest fight i ever played in any type of game.

Metroid Prime Omega Pirate, I'm still stuck in the game because of this one (I stopped playing Prime several months ago after trying to beat the Omega Pirate something like 20 times, maybe more...).

I forgot the exact details, but there's a very specific guide on how to beat him in the hardest mode of MP1. I couldn't touch the guy in hard mode until I read this guide, and it explained how to do everything. Don't worry though, after him, the rest of the game is a cake-walk. Just go to Gamefaqs if you want a guide with some help.
