Forums - Gaming - Ubisoft: Kinect and Move will fail - Nintendo 3DS will rule the future

Ubisoft fails quite often. They might know something...

Even Sony has little hope in the Move. They aren't exactly marketing it. But I think Kinect is going to be a success.

Well given Sony have already stated a 10-year plan for PS3 I don't think they ever saw Move as giving them a 15 year plan for PS3, though I think Move might help make the PS3 10-year plan a little more feasible than it was looking about 1 year ago. A dude from MS on the other hand stated that he reckons Kinect will give 360 another 5 years, which is somewhat less likely, given MS probably only had a 7-year plan for 360 in the first place, and I doubt Kinect will give 360 an extra 3 years.

Guess they're trying to even the odds, after their lovely Wii comments the other day.

In all seriousness, why develop games for something you deem a failure? Sometimes these devs puzzle me

Wow, are you even reading what you type?

Sales decide how long a console lives, not hardware, Move and Kinect aren't ging to ignite PS3 and 360 sales anywhere near enough to keep them going for these so called 10 year plans

No, but that might be reflective of their recent comments about how all non-AAA games bomb on the HD consoles now and new IPs are too risky so RUSE might be their last one this gen.  ;)

"Will Nintendo, which was rather smiled in the play industry in the last years usually, really go thus this mark as a winner out of the fight of the “large three” outside?"

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

This post makes me feel dyslexic.

I do agree with them that the 3DS will the future and I plan on getting one. Kinect and PS Move, not sure how they will do.

BTW: Why is Ubisoft talking so much shit lately?

Probably because their investors are breathing down their collective neck about why their current business model isn't making as much money as they thought they would.
