wipe out isn't there.. neither are the pixel junk games.. or any of the really big psn games besides flower and fat princess, in fact warhawk was the best selling psn game for a while..

Yeah they probably use a % of margin of error and look at the leaderboards to see how many users are registered. Last I checked (though it was last week) Castlevania HD had 70k registered users on the single player leaderboards for Chapter 1 Normal, so you probably throw in 5k (or whatever the formula may be) of users who used a friends game signed (I think that would be a bit high, but just saying) etc.



It's just that simple.

I find it very hard to believe that ff7 has not sold 260k copies on PSN

Wipeout HD is a retail game that has a digital version... like GT5:P, inFamous, LittleBigPlanet... theses games doesn't count because the revenue are mixed (physical disc and digital download).

Classic (PS1/PS2) games doesn't count into this report too.

Just PSN games with no retail version.

Games in report: Flower, Fat Princess, Echochrome, Battlefield 1943, etc.

Games not in report: Wipeout HD, FF's, GT5:P, LittleBigPlanet, inFAMOUS, All PS Classics, etc.

Good to see that they're finally getting some estimates for PSN numbers, though I'm disappointed that we no longer get mrstickball's monthly threads detailing sales estimates... There were a number of XBLA games that I was following...
