Exactly. Also it's been argued that Halo is a much better FPS on consoles then on the PC.

i have an xbox and i have halo 3 and odst and am going to get reach considering i am a millionaire it is obvious i can buy it. it is just halo 1 on pc and halo 2 even though it was 3 years later were superior versions and i would still buy them if they had new features . halo 1 pc added online , halo 2 provided better match finding. plus they would really save gfwl.

But... Pc gamers have higher standards. Halo, while still fun, wouldn't stand out as much and wouldn't garner the sales required.

The problem with Halo 2 was and still is the lack of XP support. Even now XP users are just over 30% of Steam. Bear in mind XP was far more relevant when Halo 2 was released on the PC.

Anyhow, it would be nice to see Halo get a little more support on the PC in general. Neither Halo 1 or 2 are available on GFWL.
