Forums - Sony - LBP has shipped 4.5 million copies

What a flop !

Around the Network

It has, however, been bundled and in the UK it has been heavily discounted for some time. The real question is how much money they have made from the DLC costumes

It derserves everyone of those sales and more.

a fortune!

LBP has lots of DLC costume although still waiting for the Final fantasy one maybe on LBP 2? LBP also RPG creation right?

Final Fantasy costumes in LBP? Yes thanks, I would buy that! For a decent price of course.

Anyway, that's pretty good and much more than what it's here (3.6M). I wonder where the difference comes since I though bundled copies are included... Maybe I missed something by skipping the video (didn't seem to work too well).

Also, I wonder if the PSN release did very well. And then it was free for one-year PSN Plus subscribers for a while, at least here in Europe. Got my second copy there.

I heard him saying LBP has been played by 4.5 million people which of course doesn't mean it's shipped that many.

You're right actually...but given he is a PR guy, I assumed that it meant the game had sold 4.5 million.

What you are saying completely went through me. :/

Was supposed to sell 20Million first week. Huge flop.

Well actually he would say whatever number sounds better. Saying it sold 4 million or saying 4.5 million people, honestly which sounds better?

(I would be one of the people that played it, but haven't bought it.)
