Forums - Gaming Discussion - Wii has half the amount of games coming as PS3/360

I just noticed that Wii has about 40 games coming in the near future compared to PS3/360 who each have around 100 games coming.

Why do you think this is the case. is it because its too hard to sell games on wii for 3rd parties unlike on PS3/360?

Around the Network

Phew finally the PS3 and 360 can start to catch up to the number titles in the Wii's library, just wondering how many of these 100 titles are repeats on PS3 and 360 though...

MaxwellGT2000 - "Does the amount of times you beat it count towards how hardcore you are?"

Wii Friend Code - 5882 9717 7391 0918 (PM me if you add me), PSN - MaxwellGT2000, XBL - BlkKniteCecil, MaxwellGT2000

ps3 and 360 have more 3rd party support, they also have many exclusives coming, and all of the low budget easy to make move and kinect games dont help.

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

As long as the 40 games coming to Wii are games I'll buy and enjoy, I couldn't care less about the 100 coming to PS360.

EDIT: It occured to me I used the phrase "could care less". I'll fix that.

I want a list.

I demand a list, or will not comment.

Above: still the best game of the year.

it probably just shovelware

Kinect and Move each account for between 30-40 of those games for both the HD platforms, correct?  Simply put, the two HD consoles are getting a mini-reboot, so it's not too surprising that they're getting so many titles.  It IS surprising at how few the Wii is getting, though.

Quantity> Quality a fact proven time and time again.
