Final Fantasy XIV has not been cancelled for Xbox 360, but it is on pause, producer Hiromichi Tanaka toldVG247 at Gamescom.

Final Fantasy XIV is slated to release September 30 for PC and in March 2011 for PS3, and previous indications had Xbox 360 development completely out of the picture.

Tanaka said the cancellation rumors are completely false.

“We’re still talking with Microsoft at the moment so there is no update as to when we’ll start again,” he said. The only roadblock lies in Xbox LIVE restrictions, which were also the issue when development was first halted earlier this year.

It wasn't Exclusive from the beginning. It was confirmed for PC too.

Hence the point of my post.

It's already been "on hold" for over a year.

note the console exclusive part in his post...he wasn't undermining the PC or anything he was talking about console exclusiveness i.e ps3 360 wii

Doubt anyone would care if this goes multi to be honest....cuz many already expected it to..but it's paused still? Might be something never will happen after all then
