I'm surprised no one has listed Valkyria Chronicles here yet, loved that game and it got a lot less sales than it deserved. Also would agree about demon's souls being very underrated.

I'm just happy Valkyria Chronicles is the second best-selling JRPG this gen.
Definitely agree about Demon's Souls, though.

Dreamfall: The Longest Journey is rated 75 PC and 73 xbox on meta.
I'd give it a 90
This Gen, not a whole lot is underrated imo these are all by a little bit, a whole lot is overrated (though I won't say because it's not necessary to this thread).
Three games that are atleast more than 5 points off for me that I recall
Perfect Dark Zero is rated at an 81 and I'd give it a 90
Final Fantasy XIII is at an 83 ps3 and I'd rate it a 90
The World Ends With You is rated at 88 and I'd rate it a 95

I'm sure he meant on home console on which case it is, or it is close. Depending on whether you count battle revolution as an JRPG (I haven't played it as I haven't played a home console pokemon since snap/stadium and wouldn't consider those that, but I do remember nintendo adding things in colusseum.)
But on a odd note... it is the highest selling not nintendo/Square Enix on anything JRPG yes :P?

@dystopia, i have Alundra, but i still havent got round to giving it a go, lol. mainly because i finished Alundra 2, and that was a so so game.
errm, i would say Prince of Persia (the new one, not Forgotten Sands). loved that game, great action, not just button bashing, not hoards of repitive uncessary encounters, great story, great characters, great dialogue. only problem was that the dlc was expensive and theres been no news of a sequel!!
