LittleBigPlanet 2. Shouldnt it be called like LBP 1.3 or something. This looks just like LBP to me. This could easily be DLC. Con artists. I aint paying full price for that shit. |
Go check the features in the game and then come back.
- Wasteland - The Mission.

If they put all those additions into a DLC scheme you would pay far out the ass for it. Not to mention the updated graphics and another full set of story levels made by MM themselves that would not fit as DLC.
...
I already know what you can do in LBP2. I have done much research on it. That being said i think they should have done alot more. The jump from gears 1 to 2 is bigger then LBP 1-2 and that got called gears 1.5 by most people, including me.
Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!
Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st ![]()

if you're only looking at graphics I can see how you might conclude that, but I defitely think there are much more feature and gameplay changes from LBP 1 to 2 than Gears 1 to 2. And I just don't get how people write off an all new set of levels on the disc from MM, there are a few user levels that I like more than the MM developed ones from LBP but it took quite a while and I'm expecting LBP 2 to pan out about the same way.
Exactly what do you think they should have done beyond what they have already done to make it a full fledged sequel in your eyes?

Sounds to me like graphics are the only thing that qualifies if something is a full fledged sequel or not. Gameplay is irrelevant.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Na but it does help if you can see a dif. I purchase Smack Down every year and i cant even see a dif from the last few games. but when i play them they feel dif.
I was hoping you would be able to change the camera angle. from side scroll to over the top to bhind you. ya know. like in a few Crash bandicoot levels where you would only see him from the back or fron. I thought it would of had more dimentions to it.
Or full fledged 3D levels.
Almost forgot. I would love it to have actual "enemies"

full fledged 3D would change it to a completely different game type and then it wouldn't be a sequel, but the camera angle changes you mentioned are totally in the game, you can do a camera slightly behind the character as well as a camera at a bird's eye view to make a race track. You could completely remake a Crash Bandicoot Level with some clever use of the holographic material.
edit: actually nix the holographic material, that's the sucker's way out. Long as I can set a direct control seat to change the plane that something is in then I could make a completely playable Crash Bandicoot Level using a direct controlled sackbot, the camera set behind the character and a lot of time making the style look right.
