Forums - Website Topics - gamrFeed comments

About the lime green color, I don't have trouble with it in the Hub, because the topics are bolded. But in gamrconnect, the Hot Topics and my recent Threads need to be bolded too, cause it's more difficult to read them that way

I think that GamrFeed can flourish with more exclusive VGChartz features.

Back in the days of 2.0, things like "The Top 100 Games", WiiWare/Live Arcade/PSN sales, and "Game of the Year" stories got a lot of hits (and comments!) because...

  • They were stories that you could only get on VGChartz, and not other news oriented sites like GoNintendo/N4G./ect.
  • They were stories that the users themselves helped create (From my perspective, the community loved the "Top 100" and "GotY" threads because they were part of it). Hopefully we can continue the "Top 10 Games" stories that SPDK1 started. *nudge nudge*

I'll do my best to bring more comics to GamrFeed, so that VGChartz can have another special reason for people to take a look. It's why I haven't put it o the forums yet.

Another question - how do you all get to VGChartz at the start of the day? So you type "www.vgchartz.com" into the browser then click through to a thread, then just stick on gamrConnect (i.e using the gamrConnect menus) to browse the forums?

I type -- vgchrtz into google and click "I'm feeling lucky"

This is because my home page is google.co.uk

And I hate typing in www.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

personally I don't comment on new stories  because other than throw away comments like ooo shiny or something, There is no point as there is little to no chance of having a real discussion/debate as most people don't go back to read the comments repeatedly etc. If I want to discuss a game the forum is just much better.

@TheVoxelman on twitter

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

I mainly hang out on the hub page and click on whatever interests me.

I don't think my habits have changed much, so I'm not sure what the deal is.

I post in a thread, then hit the back button on the browser and go back to the hub. Then I hit refresh, and scan for new topics or threads. It's possible that there are just fewer of the more heavy-use members who used to comment on everything, and more lurkers who may eventually become members.

PS: I wish we could make graphs again :P

I've always kind of felt this too. It's a little out of place to have new comments appear at the top and no way to edit your posts. I think the news comments section should be more like a forum thread.

I only want imparciality, adjusts the sony consoles numbers, it's ultra undertracked

I want console hw number by lunch comparasion again

Once I discovered the Condensed view I started recently using it a bunch again, I don't think I ever commented on a story though in VG Chartz 3.0, I'm not sure why, maybe the reason is because there is usually not that many comments so it doesn't seem like anyones going to read it? Stupid reason but thats what it seems like.

Oh yeh, is that bug ever going to get fixed where you get pushed right down to end of every new thread, thats got to be one of the most annoying things in VG Chartz now, in the middle of reading the OP and then all of a sudden I get thrown down to the bottom of the page and I have to scroll back up and read the OP over again.

I think Gamrfeed is also badly laid out. Its just one big long list. We need to keep it structured better and use the space rather than have it laid out like a Blog.

Tease.

I type VGchart.com, check see if new numbers are up if not I go to the News and see what are the top articles, if theres anything interesting then I go to GamrFeed and check all the news that I missed, after that I go to GamrConnect and check out all threads, that's the first thing I do when I go to VG Chartz everyday.

Another thing, please combine the sales game pages and the game review pages, please! :'( Getting tired of seeing an interesting game at GamrReview and then having to go all the way back to VGChartz sales section to look up that game to see sales in each region, it was all so convenient before.
